Avillion Premium Water Chalet - Tumasek Wing

The Tumasek Beach is a private stretch which is cordoned off and that's the location of our water chalet. Right next to it, at the edge of the resort. While some guests from other wings nearer to the main pool may have had issues with noise and obstructed views, we on the other hand, had a most positive and relaxing time out.
Almost no disturbance, with a room so beautiful, plus the sea out there for your personal viewing enjoyment .

Because this wing is so "up " we didn't see many guests . No screaming kids , no loudmouths , no public space hoggers , none of those prone to over selfie-ing on this side as there were simply no chairs or facilities for them to do that. Very important detail, seeing how those who booked into the hotel rooms would hog the benches outside the entrance to the chalets  .

Premium Water Chalets , give you access to the Avi Lounge for cocktails and other nibbles. Most important ,by being further out, there's more privacy, you won't hear the waves crashing , nor attract too many gawkers. Only problem will be the aeroplanes flying above . If that bothers you, pack some earplugs .
Privacy is the main keyword, you won't need to open your door only to face another couple across from you. Open the sliding door to enjoy both sea and sky for that almost exclusive feel or look out from the comfort of the  four poster bed.

Oooo....firm bed with soft pillows. There are altogether 4 pillows and once you get on the bed , you'll just wanna roll around.
When you look up, and see the fan whirring through the cloth, somehow , this kind of scene can start a raging fire in the romance department.
What some deem , a dirty weekend. This izzit.

The daybed. With mattress that's even firmer than the four poster dream . Perfect for a lazy afternoon.

Lovely, just lovely.

What did I tell you ? 2 windows, both with seaview

From this angle , you can already see the balcony.
On the right of the cupboard, there's a tv , air conditioning, with charging points hidden under the table where the mini bar is but I didn't snap that.
Inside the cupboard itself, is a portable ironing board with steam iron , hangers, bedroom slippers and a very temperamental safe.

Some of the furniture may be showing signs of wear but it's fine by me.

What lies beyond these pretty blue windows ?

The bathroom of course.

The idea of bathing in the open is quite thrilling. Most times only found in a spa, well, they've made it personal here.
Hot water mixer taps need a 10 minute start up. Beats me.
They should really change the shower head to a full on powerful rainbath. As it is, the head feels like an episode of Survivor

Pebble flooring.

Next to the open air bath is this hole.

Really have no idea why they boarded this up.
Last time, you could hire a fishing rod to try snare some crabs from this spot. Now, there's a boatman on call ready for hire whenever you want.

By the side cupboard where the towels are stashed, there's a very good toothbrush , soap bar, shaver , emery board, shower cap even sanitary bag provided

Close up of the range from Avi spa.
Body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel.

All the water chalet roofs look  this way. Even the ordinary ones chalets have it due to the open air bath .

Compared to almost  a decade ago ,  when we stayed in an ordinary chalet under a very extravagant package, this time , I picked the Premium water chalet since I know what I want after all. Private romantic hideaway with a personal seaview.

Location : Avillion , Port Dickson
