Priced slightly below MYR 850 , affordability is not an issue especially when our smartphones cost a whole lot more. 

Toy this zippy , functional , app driven , plus cute, is one thing. But the association to Star Wars means you will have to try and join the waiting list if you want order it , since where I live , the toy is sold out. 

There is a camera for ground patrolling purposes and holographic imaging to project prerecorded messages like for Star Wars real . You can drive it and watch it respond to your voice . And if you cannot figure it out , trust me , the kids will . Great bonding tool .

Sitting on a charging station , the BB8 reminds me of Wall - E rather than the inimitable R2D2 .

Made from polycarbonate it is not only waterproof , the head is actually a magnet spinning on a round ball, dressed up and powered by Android or ios .

As a parent , I'd say it's a lighthearted droid pet which can help you enthrall your visitors and friends , patrol the inside of your home , keep an eye on the kids and pets at the same time while distracting them out of mischief with a holographic reminder from you .
