Sons and their girls
I have 2 sons . When I gave birth to the first , someone said it straight to my face, that I was so clever for picking such an auspicious period to bring him into the world .
Today he is grown up and mingling with girls . But I don't feel so clever especially when I have to put up with certain things that come with the package of being a youngish looking mom .
Don't get me started on the 2nd , today , is just about No.1

Buffalo crossing or Cow crossing
PLUS highway authorities have put up many Cow crossing signs along the North South artery.
When they first appeared , we being city slickers were left scratching our heads .
In the first place , how did cows cut across the fencing to get onto the highway ? Maybe they jumped across ?

Lonely celebration
Could not believe my eyes when I walked past .
In fact , I stopped to scratch my head for a moment.
No , this certainly did not belong to a staff or worker. Neither was the glass from the open air restaurant's kitchen .
Someone actually packed a cheap packet of noodles and placed a glass of water this way.

Temple of the Batcave - not Batman ' s hideout
Well I didn't exactly go in. This is just a picture of the sign towards the property.
No relevance to the subject but if you must know , some old timers in Penang actually have consumed bat soup before and according to them these fruit bats are very tasty but no , I am never having any thank you .
Anyway , this is a temple. Not Batman's hideout.
If you're near Penang Hill , you might wanna check this out. A lot of legends exist and the Tua Pek Kong is a Malay spirit whom the Chinese here worship.

One freaky meal
The meal was supposed to act like a pick me up. A self reward for restraining myself in the spend to kingdom come department. And for having to finally go trudge somewhere I have all these years, not been keen on going.
Until I noticed the man on the left. I have to admit I did feel jittery. It's the beard that's gotten the bad press and sadly , I have been negatively influenced I'm afraid .
This coming from me , a person who saved one old dude from getting pepper sprayed by a travel companion .....all because she too was spooked out by his appearance. He never knew what was about to hit him when I hissed at her to keep it away.

Have A Happy GST ???
I can't believe the store man actually wished me
" Have a Happy GST "
just now when I left the outlet .
But he did.
The gall of him. Made me feel like stringing him upside down and shaking his brains out .
Happened at a flat priced outlet which revised its price from RM5 to RM5.65 before GST and by tomorrow , everything will shoot up to RM6.
Grrrrrrrrr. Shopping as a therapy just got much less pleasurable.
While the aunties and uncles battled amongst themselves to get more toilet paper , the lala luis and ah beng chais decided to cram up the tills at surprise , surprise .....Watson's.
Proof below.

Why some prefer to takeaway
The last time I ordered Tai Lok Mee , my other half polished half the steaming plate and left us with a miserable amount to share between us. We were still hungry after that while he was happy and contented. Demmit.
Back for vengeance, I've got it figured out. I'm gonna have to order more ! Tonight yes !
Last time I ordered Tai Lok Mee for 2 , Hokkien Char Beehoon for 1 person and Crispy Sang Meen for 1 also . This was how the order went today.

Why your Tuk Tuk driver might take a longer route
Caught a late night movie at Terminal 21. By the time we came out , it was 1:30 am and this being an area I was unfamiliar with, we tried to hail a cab back.
None available , all full, probably a spillover effect from Nana. Anyway, under the bridge was a lone Tuk Tuk driver.
" 300 baht " . Good gawd, what to do but hop in.
Now take a look at the red dotted line. That was the long and crooked route he took , when all he had to do was follow the BTS line

Majestic peacock's Forever Alone moment
If I am not wrong there are 2 or 3 peacocks on the prowl in the resort. When they are not prowling for Tongkat Ali root ( kidding ) they are prancing about to get the attention of the females ( not kidding )
Yesterday, this fella was not in the mood but today, he's feeling a bit raunchy, hot and steamy after hearing all the humans, romancing out in the huts , I mean chalets.
