A Daiso winter

Regular Daiso customers know one thing . That is winter is soon approaching and here are some essential supplies you might need to ready yourself for it 

# 1 . Hand and Body Warmer

Update : Does not work for below zero . The heat is very slight and minimal and it takes a long time to build up .

Never used this before .

Yet I'm gonna give it a try .

It's a little early however I'm snapping 2 packets up before it totally disappears from the shelves and then I'd have to go loco going from store to store searching for it .

What is it you ask ?

It's a chemical pouch that comes with a sticker so that you can paste it to the inside of your clothes to keep warm for approximately 8 hours during cold weather 

Does it work ?

How should I know lol .

Well , I will find out eventually . 

If it doesn't then it will be TOO LATE  . Hah !

What's the difference between the 2 packs ?

The one on top is for Hands .

You stick it in your pocket .

Bottom one is for the Body .

You stick it where you think is necessary but make sure you read the instructions as you should  NOT place it next to your skin .

That could cause a low degree burn and you don't want that .

Anyone else sell this ?

Yeah at a higher price between RM 20 - RM 30 if I am not mistaken .

Any other alternative besides this ?

There is a type of electric pillow from China and that will cost you around RM 20 - RM 40 but I really don't know if that works either 

Why should you get this now instead of later ?

Because it always sells out by the time you need it , even in Malaysia .

# 2. Thermal insoles

# 3 . Socks

Few types of stockings available .

Knee length , fluffy socks , warm socks ,wool and wool pile blended .

Sells out pretty fast too .

Last time I was in New York and Tokyo , I used the knee length stockings to block out the cold . But it wasn't winter yet so ,I won't recommend that you wear the socks , just like that !

You'll need to layer or else when the wind blows omg you WILL suffer !

Anyway , that's that and the other day I found another type for cold weather ( pictured below ) .

Wool blend pile socks for ladies .

Got one in black and the other in grey .

Ought to be warm this . See the composition .

# 4. Horse related oils and products

You can get hand creams , shampoos etc . Be quick on this one . It goes very fast .

Not recommended for Muslim customers .

# 5. The Hog Hairbrush

Said to give 40 percent more shine to your hair .

Again , Muslim customers please take note that the bristles are made from pig hair .

6. Gloves

Sorry , these did not work for me  . The gloves are not suitable even for biting cold weather outdoor . Best you invest in better ,warmer, more expensive gloves if your fingers freeze as easily as mine .

7. Neck warmer

I got the black with tiny white polka dots , fluffy neck warmer last time . Was a bit too warm , uncomfortable and small too . Made me sweat which was not a good thing . Very annoying . Not using this anymore .

8 . Ear warmers

These are retractable .

Band covered in thin velvet , bottom faux fur .

Yes really retractable . Up and down they go .

For MYR 5.30 I am not complaining ok ?

But I seriously do not know why the muffs are so unphotogenic . Looks like some huge, nasty caterpillar bug from this angle .
