The Italian Polizia - from an oriental lady gawker's point of view

I'm sorry but I just couldn't help myself.
Men in uniform is a universal woman pulling magnet.
Will you look how that striking red line falls. All that shadow peeking out from the hat .
Mamamia Italy, why are they all so handsome !

Blessed by Pope Francis on a Sunday

The masses are euphoric when Pope Francis finally appears at the window. There are people from all over the world , some of whom have been waiting for this moment all of their lives.

12 o'clock , 2nd window from the right

On Sundays, the
Pope appears from a window in this building, to bless the people gathered in the square below.

Posting my postcard of Pope Francis

Even in the age of the social media, posting a good old fashioned postcard from the Vatican City is still something I want to do.
But my goodness, since when did the Poste Vaticane go mobile ? Such an ugly garish presence that mars the vista if you ask me.

At St Peter's Square

St Peter's Square is also known as Piazza San Pietro.
It was designed to accommodate up to half a million devotees who want to receive the Pope's blessings at the same time.

The 2 images below, came  from my travel partner. He has a different perspective on angles and I thought these shots were pretty interesting .
The first is a close up of the Basillica dome where Michelangelo's frescoes come alive.

Taking a bus to Vatican City

This was breakfast.
Half a canned peach, nutella danish pastry, 2 slices of ham and 1 of cheese washed down with a carrot, celery and orange juice combo.
