Golden Fortune pizza - Pizza Hut, Giant Bayan Baru

You're probably in for a big surprise when you order this festive meal set. I know, at least I was !

Created in conjunction with the Chinese New Year, we took set No.2 to be exact.
Meaning a pitcher of Mirinda Fizz, a basket of Fortune Platter and the Golden Fortune Pizza was on the way.

Choosing to eat at this outlet made it even better, because the service is absolutely top notch. If I dare say the best in Penang island . I kid you not. Great management, excellent floor staff, cozy ,clean, welcoming environment. Thumbs up !

Started with the fingerfood. Garlic bread, criss cut fries, chicken dimsum bites and a very chinese tasting new snack called sesame shell chicken or something. Interesting combination indeed. The very Chinese tasting dimsum reminded me of Vietnamese rolls because of the noodle bits inside.

 

Moment we've been waiting for, the pizza arrives. Goody !

Could see that whoever ordered this. was really having fun wrestling with the long, long mozarella. To the point where you'll have to get hands on, to help break or untangle it for others. Chicken salami is very fragrant. Loved the crab sticks that come complete with pinchers. Never would have imagined it on a pizza. Throw in the pineapple, and walla, this is probably gonna be the luckiest pizza you've eaten to date. Very "ong" huh ?

 

New Orleans chicken wings. Extra order . Not part of the set, just felt like trying it . Would have gone better with a dash of Tobasco and vinegar. Still others might like this.

 

Verdict for this latest campaign of theirs :
Overall the pizza is very filling and rich. Cos there's 3 cheeses in it. Yummy, a whole lot of fun and lucky too ! Go try it.
