This is a picture overloaded post * more than 50 *
If you're not annoyed by that, you're most welcome to come in and take a look.
That big ship, was not my mode of transport. No sireee...I was on the smaller one which was such a bargain at 10 Lira. Although it was named a short cruise, the route was really far longer than I could have ever imagined

It's November and the air is crisp and fresh, not too cold, just nice, kind and sunny. Ah, I'm looking forward to a relaxing cruise.
First up, the Galatasaray University.
The only French speaking University in Turkey which conducts tri-lingual courses and secular methods of teaching.
Dolhambace Mosque.
Dolhambace Clock Tower is at the far end of the picture
Really, truly hopes the modern day skyscrapers don't eventually dwarf and snuff out the charms of these architectural treasures
Dolhambace Palace
Looks different in the setting sun
Have a penchant for using the panorama button
Same thing goes when I start lapping up boats that I see along the way
Four Seasons Hotel.
Ciragan Palace .
Formerly an Ottoman Palace now turned into a 5 star hotel with one of the world's most expensive suites.
Daniel Craig was said to have stayed here during the filming of Skyfall.
Seagulls and boats.
Potent attraction for muah
When this bridge comes into full view, people start gathering at the front.
The famous Ortakoy Mosque is currently under reno and boxed in by large advertisements.
Bummer.
Again, I'm momentarily distracted by this fisherman on his bright green boat
Bosphorus Bridge coming up.
Happy, happy, happy...
Suddenly my battery indicator starts blinking.
In response to that, I snapped the carpeting that lined the narrow walkway where I was standing
Soon we come to a residential neighbourhoods where there are anglers all over the place. No one seems to bother bout the burnt out bus in the background. Creepy....
As it turns out, there were plenty of boats out here.
Brace yourself.
Fort of Rumeli. Very impressive.
I mean, the fort is very impressive. The cute little red and white boat is well...something else.
Ignore the yacht. Ignore it.
Looks like a cross between an English castle and a miniature Great Wall.
Fatih Sultan Mehmet bridge.
Notice the tall red building next to it, reputed to be haunted. Brrrr
Let's panorama that one more time .
Muahaha....
Making a U turn back ( hoh, at long last ! )
Real value for money short cruise, can't imagine if I'd taken the long cruise.
See the sun rays that spill from the heavens above.
Now that, forever stays in my heart.
Location : Istanbul
