View from the top of the Galata Tower

There's a narrow little balcony outside that goes all round the tower top . But since there is only so much legroom, you do have to give and take while jostling for a view

While others may lament the cost of the ticket price , me, I have absolutely no regrets coming up here.

Especially when you get rewarded with a view of the Galata Bridge and the mosques beyond

Closer to the tower foreground, you may observe the port and neighbourhood activities

Shutterbugs were just going ballistic over here

I mean, how can you not fall in love with a city that's already so photogenic and full of character to begin with

As we shuffled along, things came to a point where the tower felt as if it were slightly tilting

Jittery, we headed back indoors, with the intention of trying out something in the cafe on the same level

Funny thing is when there are no diners around, somehow, we also don't feel like hanging around

So left the menu at that. Down the narrow stairs we went.
Thank goodness for lifts ! Can't imagine having to climb all the way up this way

Right smack into the photo booth fella again.

Nope, this isn't his dress up mirror.
Found in the anciently amazing ladies washroom.

By the time I finished, he was fooling around trying to look mean and tough ...har har .
