Little Russia in Istanbul

Walking upwards towards the direction of the Grand Bazaar, from Aksaray tram station, you will pass the Laleli Mosque.
When you see this, follow this side of the road , and you will soon see shops with signs in Russian along the way

Men lugging boxes full of merchandise, clothes, cloth etc is
the norm all over the city. Never tire seeing them at work though.

This seems to be currently the rage amongst the hot mommas.Printed boots ( matching jeans that arejust as elaborate can be found to match them )

Just before Double Tree Hilton I turn into the side lane and U turn down back parallel to the road I was on earlier
Taking a pic of the signboard just to get my
bearings right

Because the area is also known as Little Russia, it's actually a haven for serious plus sized shopping, my sistas

Women are outnumbered on a street selling women's garments. Go figure

What's most noticeable ( as you can see here ), is that there are many Turkmenistan businesswomen buying cloth wholesale on the other side, then coming over on this street for something of their own.

Walk to the end , turn left and that's where Tatseven is

Location : Laleli
