Lunch at Tatseven

If you're a single female foreign traveller, you will be treated very kindly and respectfully by the good men in Tatseven.
The outlet is just opposite the Aksaray tram station. Walk away from the station with the mosque behind you and you will be welcomed most graciously by the gentlemen here.

Picking a spot out in the open this time, as it's a sunny lovely day , not too cold.

Lamb. Ooohh...look at that golden glow.
This is main reason why I came back a second time actually as it's supposed to be their speciality.

....roast quail ( not really sure if it is quail or pigeon )
Another speciality dish of theirs

Turkish economy rice lolz. The big pile in the centre is the yummy roast lamb.

The server looked a bit surprised when I pointed at the brown rice.
Don't underestimate this plate. It's a huge portion and the lamb was really tender in places where it wasn't exposed to the wind.
Again, I was delighted to find a layer of skin under that pile. Thoroughly savoured that !

In case you think that the above is too large a portion, you could always order some meze or desserts from this counter.
Really delish !
