Searing summer's day at the Sensoji - Asakusa Kannon Temple

Don't know anyone who doesn't like this entrance at first sight.
First visited during a wet cold dreary winter, now it's summer . Both seasons always pulls in the masses.

Walk inwards and there are a few rows of cute little tourist and snack shops leading all the way in to the main temple

And if you're wondering wth's gotten into me suddenly posting up 2 pics of muah 'perasan' self , well, my pics here actually turned out ok.
Now... that's rare.

Anyway, this burner is a major draw
So major, even the Mat salleh Gaijin knows what is expected of him here

Me, I personally like this water purification spot.

Besides the main temple , there are smaller ones on both wings as well as these little altars around the left wing, which this lady can be seen saying a prayer to

Other than my photos than turned out well, not only chanced  upon these priests...

... .but also caught an amazing performance
which was another unexpected bonus.
What a Lucky day indeed !
