Late lunch at The Restaurant



Driving in all the way from the airport , we found that this being the day before Raya, well, our food options weren't exactly plentiful. Then, seeing how our room wasn't ready yet , plus our stomachs were growling already and the nearest cheaper restaurant was many winding roads far, faaaaar  away, only then we sat down for a meal here.


After selecting those main courses in the 30 something price bracket, ( there's quite a variety from local to western ) this was delivered to our table. The way it's presented was already enough to make our eyebrows shoot up. After biting into it, you know, I just love the breads here. Chewy and a mouthful like they should be.


Maybe we enjoyed that a bit too much, cos when our trio of orders arrived, only the pizza scored high marks amongst us. 


 Had to add salt and pepper to the bolognese.  


Really fanciful long winded name Aglio Olio, done al dente.
Seriously, I'm pretty pissed with myself cos till today, I don't know how to appreciate this cooking method in the least.

What we unanimously enjoyed and fought over.
In a not very high class way if I may add. Plain but scrumptious. So good it made us giggle over the other two plates. Highly recommended for the sheer fun of it.
