Ant venom allergy - Snake vs Ant

Update :
Yes it works. Immediately after application it did provide some relief. The rash spread away from the spot. Took about a week but as of now , the rash is completely gone. However the feeling you get when the powder gets into sensitive areas or places where your skin touches water, ranges between icey cold and uncomfortably hot.
-----------------
Because of this seemingly harmless critter, a foursquare acquaintance on my Swarm got warded under observation . Yes, really....I'm not kidding.
It's a red house ant btw. The species we get here has an extremely nasty habit of biting us humans.
Not only that, they go nuts over fresh boiled water that has cooled down ( tap water isn't up to par  for them ) , chicken , fish and gosh....I guess every other nutritious food that's good for us.

No, his feelers aren't crooked. It's just that I messed him up a bit. They're normally straight. No, I don't care if karma is a bitch. Don't even start with me.

Anyway, it took 4 nips on my derriere the other day before I too developed an insanely itchy rash demmit. Funny after being bitten countless times, an allergy develops at the same time that Foursquare acquaintance goes into the ward ...and for the same thing. Madness.
But me, ah, I'm also allergic to clinics, doctors, nurses, needles and hospitals. So as far as possible, I will try to contain it with my quack wannabe self healing  alternative method.
Tried baby powder. Worked for a while.
And then I remembered my grandma flitting between Agnesia and Snake Brand whenever we had rashes.
However, I just cannot stand the smell of Agnesia powder...it makes me feel like choking and dying at the same time so yes, I purchased a small tin at RM4.30

Screw cap is made of tin.

Short description on its uses plus importer details on this side

Some mumbo jumbo in Thai language on top.
Followed by ingredient list and Thai manufacturer contact details

Other than the pretty red roses, I never understood why they chose to put an arrow through the snake's head as a logo. Jeepers.

Anyway, let's see if the Snake vs Ant will turn up any success and provide me permanent relief or I shall have to pay my GP , yeah the one that was afraid someone would kidnap me if I collapsed in the middle of the road ( gimme a break madam ) a visit.
