Price of a cinema ticket in Malaysia

Went to watch Dracula Untold today . Tragic , tragic tale with such a handsome lead actor . Being a weekend, we somehow managed to secure the 2nd topmost centre row and after taxes it costs just RM12 per person , that's the adult fare .
Am bringing up the cost because I remembered that some years back we had a nice Scandinavian couple over and they went half mad over the prices.
" It's very expensive back in Norway !!! "
the young lass gushed.
They just could not believe it and all they wanted to do was to go watch movies after that during their time in Malaysia......imagine that . Certainly appreciated our cinema prices much more after meeting them .

Our tickets aren't only one of the cheapest in the region, you can also dress anyhow you like even if you're attending a premiere , unlike in Hong Kong , where everyone dresses up like they were going for an Oscar award ceremony.
So if you stomp into the cinema hall with your slippers and crumpled bermudas , nobody will bat an eyelid really.

Main reason why I went to watch this movie was because there were rumours that, some quarters were calling for a ban . Well, if I didn't want to watch it before, due to the controversy, it made me go do it.

Anyway, those that made a big impression on me were Luke Evans , Charles Dance and Dilan Gwyn ( god she makes a darned scary vampire ! ) .
Sultan Mehmed aka Dominic Cooper ( Need For Speed's annoying Dino ) looked like any typically well coiffured short, dark and handsome Turkish male you're bound to bump into on the streets of Istanbul.

Can't wait for the sequel ....well there should be one, I mean how else would we get a chance to see Vlad's hair bounce, with burning gates in the background, all over again  ?
