Pizza Florida aka Pizzeria Florida

Pizzeria Florida is a family run restaurant that's been operating for generations. People trickle in from the moment the doors are open, for its mind boggling varieties of pizza al taglio , which is basically pizza sold by the weight and cut to order. We ate here every single day and I'll try to show you the varieties we had below. You may ask for a small order which is half the size of the regular portion.

As the dining area is really small, if you wanna eat in, you can either stand around or find a standing space outside the shop. Perfectly acceptable.

Margharita . Meatball with cheese. Scrumptious. Excuse me but Omfg both are sooooooo good .

A cheesy pizza I can't recall cos it just made me feel so high and another Bacon for the road.
This is Roman pizza for you.
Not oily, exceptional cheese, tomatoes sent from heaven and bacon that would cost a heck of a lot, back home.
Fantastic. Cheap too. I just sat there stunned, half disbelieving. This must be a joke. How can pizza this good cost so little ? Omg, I am sold !

Try to recognise the lady behind the counter.
She's the best ! Super friendly and very kind to tourists .
On the last day, an older guy came out to help. Nowhe looks a little like the Damages tv show actor Zeljko Ivanek who plays Ray Fiske in the show. He's nice too ! They're all nice people here .

The number machine for when the crowd gets too big.

Can you believe this ?
Check out the variations

If not for the Euro price tag as a detterent, it would be just so easy to go crazy in here !
I wanna try everything gosh !

Potato. Margherita. Bacon.
The tomatoes here are a god given gift to Italy. Indescribable.

Mmmmmmm....mmmmm
If you want this, may I suggest Mediteca near KLCC. This however has the texture of bak kua with the taste of ham. Very porky smelling but fresh and not too salty.

Aubergine . Mushroom.

Omfg.....if only you knew how damn good these are.
Capsicum, ham, potato with mushroom.

Location : Via Florida, opposite the cat sanctuary at Largo di Torre Argentina.
