Angelo Feroci - the beautiful butcher

A macelleria is an Italian butcher shop. There are plenty of butcher shops stocked with amazing produce piled in the what may be some of the most attractive way, all around Rome but what sets Angelo Feroci apart is apparently the beautiful butcher's inside. Yes beautiful, gorgeous butcher's ...you heard right.

But me, I found the food more eye popping. The way it is presented, all ready for you to take home and cook.
These are practically arranged in such an artful manner that it's so easy for you to look like you went to a fancy cooking school .

You have to walk all the way in. Don't just look from the outside. Being Oriental , you WILL cause the handsome butcher's to look your way. Even an uncut diamond type of specimen like me. Ignore them, salivate at the plates, platters and displays heaving with what can only be described as highly evolved mostly uncooked foods fit enough to be presented to the gods, a challenge contender to the finest Japanese chefs, and get out before you loose your nerve.
