A Premium weekend at Avillion

Many years ago, I flew back to Malaysia direct from London and after some mad arrangements from Seremban , via an old beat up taxi arrived at the doorstep of Avillion.
At that time, it was newly opened , we had a full works package, candlelit dinner , spa included, man....it was sheer paradise . Fast forward more than a decade later, it still is ! Especially if you'd like to experience snippets of an upscale version of kampung life by the sea.
This round , we went Premium. Picture from the Tumasek wing , balcony of room 922 the most uppercrust of the lot.
Premium means unobstructed seaview. If you paid a bomb and got to see other chalets, you might want to ditch your agent or not buy during a discount period

We arrived late and spent the whole night frolicking about this very romantic hideaway

Next morning breakfast. Wasn't looking forward to it but my goodness, the food tastewise has much improved.
Crow's Nest was da bomb last time. Now, Village Court has definitely bucked up

More frolicking about before crashing on the daybed with 2 window views of the Straits of Malacca . Yes, wow.

Had such a splash doing all the activities that I only had time to Instaweather them on the last day.
Breakie as usual . There's western which is just ok

But if you ask me, the local cuisine is really good !
Nasi lemak. Mmmm...mmm. Can't get this in Penang.

We come to the pool. Open 24 hours ! Nice warm water , , good shade.
I flitted between the dry sauna and here. There are a couple of jacuzzi jet pools and one path under the pergola. Well, I soaked like a frog and sunned like a cat.

From a Beruk monkey that plucked coconuts ,they now have a pet farm with doves, chickens, rabbits and turtles. Originally intended for kids , you can see what a hit it is among the adults .
Children today scream at the sight of a chicken. My goodness gracious me. Move over lah. Let the aunties show you how it's done lol.

Our wing. Our room is on the right. Love the sound of the floorboards creaking as you walk, as well as the waves lapping .

How can anyone not be awed by the emerald waters even by the edge ? The only downside is sandflies, so make sure you apply repellant. So many of these lovely spots for you to reflect and unwind

As we checked out, the super friendly Caklempong team of musicians were tilting out melodies at the wakaf.
Another great hands on , fun activity, where guests are  encouraged to play the instruments.

Location : Avillion , Port Dickson
