Hock Chicken Rice - Tanjung Bungah

Most Penang TAR students would know this chicken rice stall. Initially located in a small shack by the roadside, when development engulfed the area, they have since relocated to the Tanjong Bungah wetmarket makan area.
All the pictures you see below was the meal we had.
All in Rm16 only.

1. One generous plate of chopped chicken together with one par boiled liver plus spring onion garnish that's missing eleswhere

2. Three plates of fluffy chicken rice that tastes like the famous Goh chicken rice stall in Chulia Street

3. One very tasty ( read msg ) and pepperish bowl of quick boiled vegetable soup

4. One small portion of taoyubak or pork belly in soya sauce. Very nice this. The three layer belly pork is cut into tiny pieces and the pork fat just melts in the mouth.
Blur pic yeah I know.

For those who are on the look out for a filling but economical meal, this is the stall you have to lookout for.
Just bear in mind that the floor area is not very clean, nothing to do with this particular seller, as I have been patronising them at their earlier premise.
Just that a lot of the hawkers there have care-a-damn attitude towards the general cleanliness in the dining area for years already.
Made worse by the fact that the market is a dumping ground for unwatned animals who feed on food and leftovers on the floor.
Don't say I didn't warn you.

Location : Tanjong Bungah wetmarket
