One and a half hours later, we were in Don Mueang Airport.
Was absolutely thrilled to see two Nok Air Angry Bird planes parked here as we walked towards the baggage carousels
This airport holds some sweet memories for me
Not much has changed far as I can see. We grab our bags and head towards the direction of the front door, not even sure of what mode of transport we're gonna use to get out of here
It was either we take the train or try the A1 Express which was supposed to take us straight to Mochit skytrain station. Do not panic over the complicated 3 step instructions which look like a disastrous science formula . Just hop on the bus and you will be deposited just a short walk away from the skytrain which is elevated , in case you didn't know that.
Mochit. That's where we're headed.
Yep. Mandarin is everywhere now , even in Dubai.
On board the A1 Express.
This bus service has one of the best female conductors you'll ever come across on this side of the planet.
They're not only multilingual, they're super patient no matter how many times the hapless tourist does not understand that one needs to change trains to get to Khao San Road. That's why we've booked a hotel along the BTS line. While the fare may be more expensive than the subway, the convenience of easy connection to every major shopping destination wins hands down.
