One LOST in Germany

The train attack on that very unfortunate family from Hong Kong has managed to do one thing .

Keep most of us oriental looking people away . From Germany .

 Japs , Koreans , Hongkies , Thais , ABC's , Chinese ....these asshats can't tell the difference between us  ...we all look the same to them . They can't tell the difference

But many of my kind , have developed an incurable affliction towards travel and it is only a matter of time before you spot us trickling back in . 

However , to do so requires big balls . Especially when you have relatives back home who constantly barrage you on the dangers of that one particular place based on what they've seen in the news . 

While it was indeed a rare thing to spot another oriental in Germany ,

if I ever did meet another , especially if she were a LOST ( Lone Oriental Single Traveller ) the signs were all there . Constantly on guard , nervous , struggling with that inner demon to take or not take THAT picture at the heightened risk of having your device snatched away .

So happened that I stumbled upon this young lady the first night I arrived in Frankfurt .   

The sight of me clicking away was too much too take . She slowly opened her satchel and got the job done .

Eventually I did see more orientals throughout the few days I was here .

Young dolled up Japanese girls moving about in a closely packed tour group in Frankfurt ,some Ajumas in Frankfurt as well , older Japanese ladies in slightly more relaxed groups than the younger ones in Nuremberg . 

One super haughty Japanese family who cut queue , kept a perpetually scowl and looked at nobody in a Weimar hotel , 

 a succession of very vocal and loud pairs of China girls and a trio of equally loud China men in Dresden , one Pinoy in Berlin ,  ....

Me from the 14th of December until the 22nd of December 

yeah , that's about it .

 That LOST girl up there was an exception . 

Students and PR's don't count . 

Bag in front , tells me she could be Singaporean , Malaysian , Hongkie or a Taiwanese ...just a wild guess 

If she really is Chinese , you gotta bear this in mind . 

She's come this far . 

She's ready for you .

Probably will go out the way to avoid all contact with you , but if you were to push her into a corner , high chance , she will overeact .

Some of us do become Tiger Moms after all . We are also known to have more hair than the male of our species ...some were brought up in an environment which required us to develop steel balls . 

Which we keep underwraps until put to the test .

 I just hope you know what's coming if you single her out and corner her . 

I can't speak for the Japs and Koreans  but if so happen to you frighten the wrong LOST fragile looking , child sized Chinese , Pinoy , Indon or Thai woman ...you know what ? 

Just don't do it .
