Kim Lian Kee - that Petaling Street Hokkien Mee



Not to be confused with Penang Hokkien Mee, KL Hokkien Mee , is a sinful , quick stewed, charred mass of pure black thick soy sauce, together with squid, pork, prawns, cabbage and lard, cradled in a dry mound of 3 inch long noodles !

This little pathway has seen its heydays . Waiting time used to be a minimum of 45 minutes and tissues used to be part of your combat tool . But with so many foreigners in KL nowadays , especially in Chinatown which has turned into PRC and Bangla town , local Chinese are a dime a dozen.
