Sky 100 - View from the top

I don't know why some people complain about how expensive the tickets are and how not worth it an experience Sky100 is.

Try queueing for transport to The Peak. You won't even get close as I did to this tranquil scene.

Since I enjoyed myself immensely, maybe the detractors expected too much.

The view is spectacular

Vibrant

Breathtaking

Some of the tallest buildings in the world don't even allow access to such a height.

KLCC is open for viewing as far as level 41.
Taipei 101 only opens level 91 on certain days weather permitting and level 89 on most others .
Burj Khalifa fares much better, allowing ticket holders onto the 124th landing.

Because the crowds are sparse, we get to play around with all of the Advanced Telescopes.

Example of what you get to see on the screen

Pick up something on the way out

And that's it . You're done

Sky 100 - Fun on the 100th floor

This tunnel is the first thing that will greet you after you step out from the lift.

Walk across a see through floor, of Hong Kong in miniature

Sure looks familiar, this building

It's the ICC Building !

Sky 100 is not all about the view, there are many interactive state of the art gadgets as well as installations to keep everyone in the family busy for a while

Of course, everyone will want to snap this as proof that they have made it to the top.

While I kept snapping a close up of these, with that in the background . Don't ask me why. Maybe it's the sudden increase in altitude .

Try posing with one of Hong Kong's favourite street snacks

Play with the interactive touchscreen wrapped around a pillar

Or be a kid again armed with a Sky Explorer passport

To collect cute chops and accomplish tasks in 9 stations

Before ending here and getting a small gift in return for your trouble.

They gave us a sheet of stickers worth $ 15 HKD.

See ? Mostly adults doing it with a big smile on their faces.

Sky 100 Level 2

The reason why we went to the ICC  Building was to go up to their 360 degree Observation Deck called Sky 100.

Thought that there was going to be a huge crowd but it is practically empty. Think it's because many tour companies haven't offered this yet and travellers too are not aware about this latest attraction.

Look no queue !

The instant we got our tickets , the staff walkie talkied their colleagues near the lift to usher us in the right direction

Don't drop the tickets

After making our way down some escalators, we had to go through this Time Tunnel.

Towards the end of the tunnel , a historical pictorial appeared on both sides

Before it changes to the present day

Finally we reach the lift area.

Upon entering, it feels like a lift of some very expensive kelab malam with the sky as the main theme .

Only more awesome.

This hi tech lift scales 100 floors in 60 seconds !

Had to swallow our saliva twice as our ears were getting clogged up !

Look they even have a countdown on the roof of the elevator complete with flying birds, blue skies and clouds
