Morganfield's Feast Platter, Gurney Paragon ( NH )

Hard luck trying to land a table here, if you walk in without reservations .

As opposed to a diner's corner , this place is by and by a drinker's heaven.

Very nice for slouching around on a high stool and getting hit on even .

View of the bar from the other side.

Lighting is exceptional.

Cleverly designed with breathtaking views of the dancing fountain and the courtyard surrounds .

Oh look, it even has a classy candy side store for getting hammered further.

Teetotallers will very likely find this display incredibly boring after half an hour of waiting.

Maybe we should have ordered something else .

I never liked barbecue sauce . Ever.
And they had to lather it on the magnificent rack of sticky bones and the half chicken.

Only the 2 sausages , baked potato (extremely nice), salad and corn were spared from the assault.

Half the chicken, struts a very sexy Beyonce thigh.

 Impressive is the chest span....

Layer of bbq sauce on top of that, plummets me into the depths of the deliriously unhappy .

Did I mention before that the platter is gigantic ? Or that the salad is too little ? White flag goes up.

For $89.90 ++  I would say that overall, the platter offers great value for money. Meats are all done nicely, is very fresh, neither overcooked nor undercooked.

But if it were up to me, I would seriously ditch the bbq sauce .

Location : Gurney Paragon Mall

Tips : beware of condensation dripping down from the silver foil vents above. It's not fun having icy cold water dripping down onto the floor near you every now and then.
