The BTS connects all the famous shopping districts in one big loop.
See the left hand side of this photo below ? That's a station located near Siam Paragon
Because it's perched up to a height of 30 metres , it's also better known as the Sky Train.
For most travelers, it offers a really comfortable way of seeing the city skyline, without getting ripped off by a cabbie or tuk tuk driver.
During the peak tourist season, a short tuk tuk ride, can set you back MYR $ 15...
and that's just for one way !

Compare that to the BTS SmartPass prices below....
unbeatable if you ask me.
However, take note that the pass doesn't cover the ARL ( Airport Link ) nor the MRT ( underground ).
So, be prepared to fork out extra if you're staying or venturing out of the BTS zone .
