Char Koay Teow - Sin Tatt Garden ( NH )

The hawker centre has recently gotten a makeover.
Everything looks much brighter now with a slightly higher roof, lighting and ceiling fans in a row.

While they've got some quirky stalls here that are worlds apart from what's sold on Penang island, I really got to salute this foreigner.
Her Char Koay Teow is THE BEST !
Class 1 !
Not too salty, very fluffy.
In fact her style has been equated to an old CKT seller at The Esplanade ( on the island ) many years ago !
Bear in mind that most locals hate it when foreigners try to cook our local favourites, due to the fact that the end result turns out to be a miserable failure.

She, on the other hand, seems to have been blessed by the God of CKT ( if there ever was one )
Muah ! Yes ! She deserves a kiss ! Respect !

Feast your eyes below.
3 substantial plates cost below 10 ringgit !
Where to find ?
On top of that, the clam is freshly shucked and not dyed red. PLUS, there's a whole lot of egg.
Lard oil used to cook it...is A1,extremely fragrant, fresh and divine !

Problem is, long waiting time because she fries every plate individually, not ten at a time ( part of the secret ).
Dark skies descended, by the time we finished our meal.
But it was worth the wait because
this little lady is Fierce !

Tips : there's very little sitting space, so you might have to be content with take away. Also, if you like your CKT very spicy and salty, I won't recommend this to you.

Location : Jalan Raja Uda, between a large incense/prayer shop and a row of huts hawking fruits and flowers.
