Italiannies - Gurney Paragon

Our feast resembled the last supper.
While I wouldn't say that this restaurant is one of the cosiest places I've been to , what I can vouch for is that the food is indeed so hearty , you'd never guess that this was part of a chain outlet.

Everyone who's been here have been raving about their pastas and I'm afraid I have to agree with them.
No hype, the carbonara is really, really good with generous portions of bacon bits and enough cheesy goodness to burst that zipper .

Not sure I wanna repeat this selection of appetizers though .
Think it's much more suited for times when you're just having a beer and looking for something to bite.

Milanese chicken on the other hand, was seriously damn good.
A little on the dry side, with the best tasting guilt ridden sauce ever. In comparison, the sizzling pan chicken looked really impressive, but it came off as a little too oily. Thus, try not to order these two together as far as possible.
Just doesn't compliment each other. Would be much better if you ordered them on separate occasions.

The pizza ( topmost pic, far end of the table ) now, that's really something else, if you wanna get stoned, this is it. Nuff said.
