After You - Shibuya Honey and Nutella toast

After You is yet another restaurant in Bangkok where you have to queue with a pre issued number in hand. 

It's so crazy you know, that we decided to head down to Silom Complex , where the line was a little thinner due to the protests on the streets. 

I'm sure you're thinking hey, since when do grown people go nuts over toast bread and honey right ? Me, I was skeptical too , so I had to see what the big fuss was all about. Upon obtaining a table space, you still have to go place your order at the counter, pay up on the spot then wait for it to be delivered to you.

Nutella it was. 

Don't follow what I did and dive straight into the bread before the ice cream. Because by doing so, you will end up making the ice cream bland and  tasteless. 
Tricky, but it can be done, you'll figure how to enjoy the two eventually.

In contrast, the crumble had a layer of piping hot 
fruit jam ( with delightful chunks of fresh fruits) just underneath it. Kinda felt as if we were enjoying some yin yang snack.

Without doubt, the honey is incredibly aromatic and fragrant, only because I think it's actually a maple syrup and not one produced by an army of bees.

The thing I liked most about this place was the drink dispenser. You could help yourself to as many refills as you liked, only you had to go fill it yourself also.
Very refreshing. Just don't forget to add some syrup .

Of course, if you can get enough of the Shibuya Honey, there's a small retail corner you can indulge in.
