Well....by the time I found this , there were only 3 mugs left. Had bought a multipack ( priced less than RM13) with the picture of the mug on it.
Great thing is, this time,to make sure all the mugs reach the end consumer, the good people at Nestle have put the picture of the free gift which you should get for being such a supportive customer, right on the pack itself.
However, in another store ( a famous chain brand, mind you ) , I found that they'd gotten around that by throwing away the outer pack and repacking it in clear plastic .
What can you do to make sure this doesn't happen ? Reject the stores that repack items which should bear free gifts.
And call up Nestle on their toll free line cos they do listen and care about each and every one of their customers.
If some middle man along the way is depriving you of this gift, call them and tell them. They will check for sure.
Location : most chain supermarkets will carry this. If the outer pack is removed and repackaged with clear plastic means the local distributor / wholesaler/ salesperson has probably taken the gift . Lodge a complaint with Nestle to alert them.
