Cherishing each Mother's Day before they get hitched

Thank you boys for the bright and fragrant bunches of flowers accompanied by handwritten cards, also the nice lunch and dinner together ( funded by daddy of course, who else ) at our fav spot.

Couldn't help but notice the old lady in her 70s seated near us. On the surface, it looked like a happy family occasion . Until the daughter in law clearly showed that she was ignoring her. As well as keeping the grandkids away from talking to her. It was awkward , it was uncomfortable, perhaps it would have been better if both sons in their 40s had not celebrated it with their mother. Wouldn't have been so hard and painful to swallow.

Well, I know that our time together is limited and someday you boys too will find that special someone who will want you exclusively for themselves and not want to share you with your mother .
When that day arrives ,do know that I am prepared to cut the apron strings and let you go free.
