Sushi Sei - Tsukiji

Being Malaysians , what to do....our currency is well you know, thus we have to try and look for reasonably priced outlets. Like Sushi Sei for instance

Should we splurge a bit or not ?

Prices are among the lowest in this area.
So you know the drill...superb freshness ( so fresh it doesn't taste like fish but tastes like sweetcorn) will be second best

We were told to go upstairs where we found ourselves seated amongst locals in a row.
Nobody batted an eyelid at our presence so I guess they're quite comfortable with dining foreigners in their midst.
That's the first good thing.
Second good thing is...you get to see the sushi chef prepare and present the various raw foods right in front of you.

There you have it...prepared before your very eyes.
Nagomi platter in all it's glory.
I also had a bowl of Chirashi and highly recommend the raw sashimi sotong and eel at this time of the year.

Location : Tsukiji
