Watching the Shinkansen pass by at Shimbashi station

Last time, we were here, we headed to Tokyo station just to see the Shinkansen. But as you can see, as we made our way from the Yurikamome line towards the Ginza line, you don't need to go all the way there ,unless you wanna include the palace and major glitzy food halls in your itinerary

Because it passes by so frequently, that makes it so easy to capture shots for the album or to show to your your loved  ones....

" there's the tail end of the bullet train"

And then not long later, another comes from the opposite direction

 

Anyway, if you've ridden one, you'll know that the watching is more exciting than the ride itself. So I'd say this is a good alternative for shinkansen spotting away from the madding crowds
