Did not want to go out the same way we went into the Vatican City.
Thus we went round the side and followed the crowds again. That's basically what led us to Borgo Pio, a small but interesting pedestrian lane filled with characters both tourist and local, plus some fiesty animals both on leash and unleashed.
Went behind the fountain where some small kids were playing , sat under a tree for a while just looking at this leaf covered building.
There were some school children here , some with minders escorting them, but this lady, wow, white boots, gold pleated skirt, horn rimmed specs, punkish hair.....don't know what to make of her.
Mami Pulau Pinang are not the only ladies that like to flaunt gold bling. She's got some too.
Lassie the sheepdog tried to hustle a chi hua hua on the street.
The ruckus from the small dog provided a little more humour than miss gold white boots above . Actually these two kind of share the same colour tone. Lol. They could walk the runway together.
The black handbag seller smiling at the owner's half apologetic explanations
As we neared the end of the street, I chuckled seeing how the Cops on patrol came in 3 do re mi sizes
Location : Borgo Pio, Rome
