However 2 days back, as part of a workshop for preregistered participants, put away your brushes and paints cos he's gonna show you how to play .
Diablo juggling is intrinsically linked to his art and today, he's gonna impart some skills to little and not so little Penangites.
He starts off with one diablo cup with a background tempo that flits from hip hop to chinese opera tunes.
Not enough, he demonstrates more tricks .

One and a half hours later and most of the kids have mastered how to throw and catch the diablo.

Now after many, many years I've finally found out what those things are called!! Seen them so many times, but never new. Diablo!!!!
