Restoration at the Colosseum

Ever wondered why every photo with the Colosseum at the back turns out a certain way lately ?

It's because of restoration works and ugly hoardings along the way.

See, if you take it from this angle, you can still see the scaffolding. Unsightly.

Even with tons of filtering. Which I need. Not this structure. 

So, the best angle that almost everyone seems to be taking currently is this one. And when that changes, it will probably mean that the works have gone yet another direction or come full circle.
