It is hard not to get smitten by Casa Del Rio's Turn Down Service . Due to the amount of details put into helping guests wind down for the night, the service emerges one notch above the rest while making one feel so appreciated , basking in warm love .
We'd already heard others raving about the candle service yet this is something that we have not come to expect , so it did put a big smile on our face.
Which brings us to discovery number one.
The aromatherapy candle in ceramic holder was not lit when we left the room .
But when we let ourselves back in , omg, yes, someone , must be a fairy godmother, somebody lit the candle for us.
A resulting light and relaxing fragrance enveloped the room. What a lovely touch.
Two.
The table where the bedside lamp is placed , looked like this before we went out
After we returned , we found a bottle of mineral water placed next to a downturned glass .
Take note of the small piece of parchment paper below.
On it is a printed weather forecast. How about that ?
Three.
Below that was a footcloth placed next to the turned down bed. On the first night , they left a green scented bookmark on the turned down cover.

Four.
Though I did not make coffee the whole day, they'd prepped the kettle up and placed our cups and tea choices out, together with an extra bonus of Cadbury Instant Chocolate sachets. Awwww......
Five.
Second candle which they lit .Flickering out on the balcony. Very romantic .
Delighted is an understatement.
All that excitement discovering the joys of a Turn Down Service, called for a long soak in the bath before we turned the lights out, pulled back the curtains , and drifted off to sleep .
