Just how lavish is a King's Club breakfast at the Hard Rock Hotel Penang ?

Frankly speaking , this is the best executive breakfast I've had so far. 

  Displayed in a small area , foods are continuously replenished by a very vigilant workforce who are committed to ensuring you get the best breakfast EVER. 

And since the hotel is just by the beach , the crowd is more laidback and dressed casually .

Just my kind of thing. 

On each table , there will be a Set menu to showcase the days offering

Changes each day except for the King's as well as the Queen's Breakfast sets. Those 2 are retained.

Between us , we tried so many of them.

Apple Pancakes for one.

OUT OF THIS WORLD !

Comes with maple syrup and chef made jam with spiced apple chunks in it. Divine , divine , divine !

Scrambled eggs salmon.

Arranged to resemble a pineapple.

Poached eggs on a King's Breakfast of sausages , mushroom ragout and beef bacon

Omelette on yet another round of King's Breakfast

Queen's Breakfast set.

Compared to the King's , this comes with yummy boiled spinach minus the sausages and bacon. 

Are we done ? Not quite. Let's see what else we can sample .

Cookies , biscotti , fruits , cold cuts, salad , yogurt...

Hot food section .

On the last day , they even had braised lamb. 

Oh the spoils of a good life ! 

Open it up and you'll find that rather than sit on stainless steel bottoms , the dishes here are arranged on top of ceramicware  

Nasi Lemak, Congee , toast ....

Pastries galore .....from chocolate danish to bagels , cakes , muffins and cold sandwiches.

You will want nothing else .

If the following is going to read like an inventory , well , it's just for my own viewing pleasure . Some of which I ate , some I didn't . 

Salmon burgers.

Beerenberg miniature pots of jams

Meatballs that taste like hamburgers ,

what I thought was kofte and a Turkish pastry but was not. Some baked potato quarters .

A tiny portion of Nasi Lemak I put together myself accompanied by sambal , deep fried anchovies, cucumber slices and hard boiled eggs

Drinks .

Freshly squeezed pineapple juice.

Coca-cola , freshly brewed coffee , fresh watermelon juice anything you want. Just ask or take it from the fridge. There's Ginger ale , etc etc 

Twinings Tea
