Watched Chappie the other day and boy did these two make an impact on me.
They start off like flies but then they stick in your head causing an internal rewiring . These two are compatriots of carnage. A geeky nerdy kind of plastic with a desperate fragility and vulnerability reeking of a fokken trashy Romeo and Juliet daring do . I cheered Chappie on as he pummelled the crap out of MOOSE , was actually thankful that Ninja showed him some nasty ropes .You wonder what Yolandi sees in Ninja. And when you finally get it , damn you are good as sold. An askewed fascination takes root.
Then you google them and shockingly , you find out the following
These 2 are members of a band called Die Antwoord. He raps , she sings.
They also have a kid called
Sixteen Jones
The grafitti artwork is known as Die Antwoord mostly executed by Ninja .
The rat really is Yolandi's pet
" Mummy " likes to project her vampiresque zombie/alien self so blood and the ugly eventually become the coolest fashion accesories.
They are both vegetarians
They may thrive on the grotesque and strip your conscience into accepting a world of disorder and crude shocks but I fink I like them .
Even though Ninja is a Japanese name and his moustache is Manchurian.
