Postcard from Hungary

The stamped date shows that it was processed on the 20th of May. Today is the 5th of September. Yeah , this postcard took like forever to reach us , which was yesterday actually.
If you think that's a long time , well , the one I posted from Istanbul , on my 1st ever visit , never arrived. ( Still hoping it does though )

When I look at this image , I can only think of Keleti and it's surrounds .
Last night , a Hungarian charity group , the Migszol Csoport , helped charter 100 buses to get the refugees out to the Austrian border . Tension has come to a head with the emergence of the food rejection footage and clashes with what some people call football hooligans , others call patriots but is essentially.....dot dot dot.

However , twittersphere is rife with rumours that the Austrians have closed the border.
Update : not true. It remains unguarded.

What's going to happen next ?

I would not like to be in any one of their shoes.
But if you think the Hungarians are bad , heartless or evil , my opinion is that they tell it as it is. If they do not like you , they will say it to you straight in the face . If they are suspicious of your motives and intentions they will voice out . If they do not want you to stay , they mean it. Definitely not a nation of liars if you ask me.

Would you rather have someone offer you hope only to slam the door in you and your little ones face ?

Update : follow the hashtag #marchofhope on twitter for the latest updates.
The refugees have started arriving in Austria from 3am with no border guards in sight.
