You've probably seen ( and bought ! ) this plasticware from Daiso .
Called the Maison Clement , it's made in Japan . The entire range is not shown below. What's missing is the large tray, pen caddy and round dustbin .
Thing is , when you start with one , you'll need to get another .
Because it's so pretty , plus it has a tendency to attract dust right at the bottom base, I do worry if I'll end up scratching it .
Here's the solution .
Take the fluffy jigsaw floor puzzle , turn it to the back and trace with a pencil . Cut to size and fit it in .
That's about it . Simple .
It not only looks and feels super luxurious , one piece when arranged properly can cover the bottom of the small tray , basket , mobile holder , file holder , caddy .
You'll need another jigsaw piece for the large tray and round dustbin .
When dust accumulates , just remove the bottom , give it a brush and a good shake .
Have fun trying !
Other tips :
Use a large sturdy pair of scissors to cut the foam . If you make a mistake , you can cut a tiny piece out and wedge it in .
