Guano Cafe - Hualapai Nation

Formerly a guano mine tram station , and now converted into a restaurant ,
welcome to Guano Cafe

Up on the rooftop are another type of mid air poop producing winged creatures ....
crows ! just waiting to pounce on our leftovers .
Not only are they more ample in size , their feathers have a lovely glossy sheen thanks to the consistent human diet of leftover bread also chicken . Omg they eat chicken too !

There are 2 dining options here but the guide said this to us
" the other restaurant serves Chinese food ....cooked by native folks
If you are ok with that , then by all means go ahead and eat there . Otherwise proceed to this outlet instead . The food is not very wonderful but at least it is still edible "
Oh my gawd , I didn't know whether to laugh or cry ....certainly was expecting the worst by now .

Yup , now I understand why the Italians roar with laughter if you tell them a Chinese can cook them pasta or spaghetti . We Malaysian Chinese however , won't laugh . Instead , we will shake our heads , feel depressed and think our lives are basically over if any other race attempts to cook any type of Chinese food for us . We take our cuisine damn seriously yo ...even though it can look like bat sweat .

Anyway , here is the open air dining space . Much like a camp picnic .

...and these are the chefs . Always good to see female chefs in the kitchen .

My meal .
Roast chicken ( was not bad actually ) , soggy buttery corn ( I actually enjoyed it ) .
Did not touch the bread or salad but I did sneak the cookie away with me to nibble on the bus .

Other than the spectacular view overlooking the canyon , you will also have company .
Some diners were so frightened by their bold eager zest to snap up leftovers that they actually threw food ( most times the bread roll ) in their direction while hurriedly swallowing up the meats.
It was entertaining watching some diners scream and huddle ( lol sadist ! ) while others almost lost their possessions when the winds came up .
