Some problems with buying clothes off the rack

Problem #1 : When you prefer the back to the front

Decided to wear this Seed romper backwards . Why ?
Because , I don't really fancy round collars besides , I think the yellow poppy design is quite rarely seen , so that did it really .

Of course , when you decide to do this , some might think you've gone nuts . A short explanation will do . Because if they also own a piece at home , they'll still think you've gone loco .
The keyword boils down to " confidence " when you take this step .

Problem #2 : The " Who Wore It Better ? "nightmare

What are our chances of bumping into someone wearing the exact same clothes ?
Pretty high . They're mass produced after all .

I've bumped into a girl wearing this piece from Padini....

...as well as this one from Cotton On .
2 different women on 2 different occasions actually . Cotton On is a global brand and this seems to be a bestseller which has currently sold out .
To overcome that ( because I love this piece so much ) , I wear a flowy cardigan on top . Your choice of footwear and accessories can help shift the attention away from focusing too much on your apparel .

Problem #3 : Careless assumption

What looks meh on the model could look far better on you! Really , I kid you not . We come in so many shapes and sizes , some designs may look so boring on a thin model but look magnificent on you , the fuller figured woman !

After picking up that yellow poppy flower romper , I put this dress on for fun and woahhhhh....the fit was so magical , into the bag it went as well !

It's an off shoulder skater dress and it looks worlds apart on this model .
I'm more filled out , so I think this goes really wonderfully on me . It somehow manages to downplay the tummy region .

On her , it's a sweet dress , but on me , you'd think I paid MYR 200 and above for this when I only forked out less than MYR 40 for it .

Problem # 4 : Boredom or Regret setting in

Some clothes get boring real fast . Others fill you with regret , when you once you see what you really look like in it , in a photograph .

You either give it away , some sell it off , others might chuck it away in a dark corner of the wardrobe never to see the light of day ever again .

Can you salvage anything out of it then ? Of course ! The internet has plenty of hacks for ideas on how to tweak new life into pieces you've grown fed up of . If you can't sew a straight line , easy , just get a seamstress to alter it for you.

When that happened to this old white top from Brands Outlet , I cut the front in half .and now treat it like a light jacket ( not shown in pic , too lazy to go snap it )
Great way to get new life out of a top you regret buying eh ?

Whatever the problem is , there's always a solution and youtube channels for reference .

Have a good weekend folks .
