Battery operated bug zapper that really works

I love going into the local store and finding stuff like this that actually works .

It just seems so incredulous at first that something so filmsy and cheap can actually zap bugs .
It doesn't , you sadist , you .
That " bzzzzzzz plak " electrocution sound when the insect flies into the panel is never gonna happen but that does not mean that this very mobile tabletop device is not effective .

After using it for the first time , I found that it is more of a repellant rather than something which attracts bugs to do the harakiri on the spot .
Ants became disorientated . They lose their sense of way plus I've enjoyed many mosquito free nights already .
Certain species of sandflies just stop moving and die on the spot when they are near the device !

Here's the catch . If you leave it on all night , you are gonna burn a small hole in your pocket , because this device can consume an entire two 1.5V C batteries overnight !
So what I do is I leave it on for half an hour or so and then switch it off and if there is still any critter around , I'll repeat the step again .

It works. It really really does . Just don't leave the battery on before hitting the sack or you'll have to purchase 2 new ones the next day .
