Mickey Mouse Waffles ( U )

Found this stall selling these cute cartoon waffles on Main Street

5 toasters in a row to stave your hunger

Autopia

Autopia is an electric car ride found in Hong Kong Disneyland's Tomorrowland .

It is like an updated version of the antique car track, up in Genting Highlands .

Better looking dashboard, but operates almost the same way.

Just press the pedal to move.

Lift your foot up to let go when you want to stop

Big difference is the track itself which is fantastic. Many loops and nice scenery if you don't get bumped by a kopi O driver.

There are two tracks, each slightly different, one slightly longer than the next, both converging here

Unlike my previous experiences, queue cutting has become quite an issue now with the culprits not limited to mainly Chinese nationals from the mainland.

Now,a handful of Tagalog speakers, have also begun to use their children to say "excuse me" so they can push their way all the way to the front as if they were looking for their parents.
Actually they were paving the way for the adults to cut queue all the way to the front eventually.

What a bummer.

The Golden Mickeys

Storybook theatre is another must do and must watch activity, each time we are here .

One time, we even lined up two times in a row just to watch it .

It's a wonderful song and dance musical where Disney characters from the different cartoon movies come alive at a stage awards ceremony .

Such a sweet looking, gracious, glam couple

Playful moments complete with cowboys and cowgirls courtesy of Toy Story 2

Probably the shapeliest and sexiest oriental version of Pocahontas ever .

Marie France potential.

Always wondered how Tarzan keeps his wig on while prancing all over the stage

The Mulan segment is visually spectacular

Underwater scenes from the Little Mermaid always fascinate me

Failed attempt to get a good frontal shot of Lilo and Stitch surfing through an imaginary wave

The hula girls skirts always got in the way

Heart stealing finale ends with a big bang

Literally... as all these glittering ribbons fall from the ceiling

Compelling all the little ones to rush out and collect them

Clutching onto them like prized possessions, dragging them all the way out

See how this cute Cinderella won't let go of her streamers ?

They have some magic in them, I tell you

Toy Story Land

Toy Story Land is Hong Kong Disneyland's newest attraction.

This ice cream stick chair gets me excited with regard to the things that were about to come

There are enormous toy props all over the place

Such as this super sized alphabet board.

Giant lightbulbs

This looks like a Hotwheels track from Mattel

It's a ride that goes back and forth called RC Racer

If I were still 15 , I would have gone ahead but I'm not .

No go. Don't intend to throw up my breakfast.

The colourful wooden building block house in the background, resembles a toy I used to play with when I was little

I remember building to knock it down and watch the blocks scatter all over the place.

We hear screams from this direction

Whoosh ! Parachutes bob up and down.

Looks like fun.

Not so fast.

Seems we have to go through Bootcamp first.

From the outside, we couldn't see that the snaking line was excrutiatingly long.

On top of that, the irritating army music that was played endlessly over the speaker system, kinda got on everyone's nerves.

Even though the ride was a little short. 5 rounds up and down and that's it.

But I found the thrill worth the horrible wait.

Go ride it . I screamed my lungs out when all I saw were tree tops !

Slinky Dog was the other new ride we queued up for.

Goes round and round like a dog chasing after it's tail on undulating land.

Seated . All ready for a bout of madness !

Fantasy Gardens

It's easier to get here via railroad than on foot . Just get off at the first stop.

Spot the dating couple. Awww.

We're here to take pictures with Mickey Mouse  in particular. Donald,Goofy, Pluto and Minnie, all have their own pavillions where you can line up to take photos with them.

Here he is signing autographs for two Japanese girls. He chooses a pole to do it.

He even does a high kick and so many many many other poses for them, I'm beginning to think he either prefers Japanese girls or it's their shrieks that get him excited

Face of a playboy

Disneyland Railroad

You will definitely have to pass the main railway station on your way in from the entrance.

Whether you come in from the left or the right, just go towards the centre and climb the stairs .
Offers quite a vantage view of Main Street once you get to the top.

The train station is popular because it goes around the resort in a loop but you don't get to see much due to the trees.

The crowd melts slowly away under the sweltering heat

Notice that no one is smiling

The other queue over on the other side of the room .

Almost the same.

I pull away from our line for a moment to take pics of this girl with a big question mark over her head as she looks at the wall pics.

A disguised elevator shaft

When the first train pulls in, not many people on board get down.

Have to wait again for the next coach.

Fuh....

Finally....

Rushing to sit here

We don't sit the whole loop but get off halfway
