Amazing scenes direct from Frankfurt's 2016 Christmas Market

Yes ! I've finally made it here !

First via the super fabulous Qatar which treats economy fliers with gold standard hospitality .

Then through the German rail system which was a bit of a trouble to decipher and crack at first but thanks to the many friendly and helpful people I found , ( along with internet posts you see alongside the wall of my blog page ) , we made it out of the airport to our hotel outside Frankfurt and then all the way to the famous Christmas Market in Frankfurt !

First leg

I'm retyping this from Hamad International Airport , Doha , Qatar ( beautiful new airport btw ) as I accidentally deleted my earlier post and am having trouble posting because everything on my blogpost is backwards and  in Arabic

It's actually pretty hilarious . Anyway the

Little Corner Cafe - first time having Picotea

" The stall is run by an angmoh kia "

Which made me scrutinise the cook as he whizzed to the back of the kopitiam . I noticed a lot of New York yellow cab toys placed like a recurring theme, from the stall to the display cabinet behind .

When I checked their facebook page , someone mentioned that this was an American burger joint .

He looked middle eastern at first glance , though he could be a Lebanese , Puerto Rican or some other nationality . Didn't ask . Just wild guessing .

What mattered was , why , of all places , would a foreigner choose this far flung kopitiam to set up shop .

As well as how he could whip up a Picotea dish that tastes so yummily addictive even with flattened buns that really reminded me of that marvellous Arab bread served in Dubai airport .

There is a perpetual queue outside this outlet .

Polyester or viscose as a base layer

it works . Enough said .

Been looking for a base layer .

Hence the sudden interest in label reading and material composition .

Actually , I'm reading labels like mad these days , more like . 

Says below 95% Viscose , 5% Elastane.

Which sounds like a death wish for a base layer but wait till you see what I found via google .
