Free View , Cheap Food near Queensbay ( U )

Chances are most of you would not know that this place even existed .
There are a few pasar malam style traders that open here on a daily basis and I guess you have to try them out one by one first before you find one that you like the best.

The main draw however is the fact that you get to dine on a sandy beach with a free view of the Penang Bridge. Simply spectacular ....how can you beat that?

That's the Pulau Jerejak jetty in the distance

Most people come here to enjoy laksa kedah, snacks like lekor together with drinks such as cendol or fresh young coconut.

Today, I just wanna take in the view with some little snacks on the side....as I've already had my fill elsewhere.
Cheap pisang goreng.

Cucur don't know what.....
I had to order some laksa to dip this in as it was too hard.
Anyway, that's how some Penang people (especially from the Tg Tokong area ) eat their laksa, with either some popiah or cucur on the side.

Didn't take too many pictures as I was eager to take a walk along the beach and investigate what the low tide waters had exposed..

Green seaweed !
Imagine that...

Location : Bayan Bay

Directions : from Queensbay Mall, head towards the pick up point jetty to Pulau Jerejak, travel straight inwards along the road. Once you spot the traders you will have to make a U turn back.
