Exhibits at the Farmers Carnival - stuffed and not

Warning :
For those who can't stand the sight of stuffed animals or freshly slaughtered ones, my advice to you, is to skip this post altogether .

Was drawn to this exhibit because I wanted to take a closer look at the stuffed Owl's eggs. I've seen a whole family of owls up close before but never the eggs, so I found this pretty fascinating.

Beside it, was this cross section of rice in various stages of maturity. Highly educational , yet throngs of schoolkids were no where to be seen .
Perhaps a liason with the State Education Department to highlight the event, to various schools would do the trick.

Lithuanian street art on Armenian Street, Penang

Over the weekend, we played host to a guest. That's how we ended up here, staring at a long queue, by the dusty roadside, under the blazing hot sun.

So what exactly was everyone lining up for ?

Great views from All Seasons Place

To tell you the truth, I've never liked coming to this area, as both sides of the road are surrounded by large tracts of cemeteries.
The most stunning part after passing those grounds, is this opening .

What you should look out for.
Go straight when you see this sign. Only turn left at the furthest end.

Free views of Georgetown

Loads of tourists take the ferry up Penang hill every day.
However, if you're travelling on a tight budget, you might want to consider this other alternative.

Of late, some shutterbugs have been heading towards the carpark area of 1st Avenue Mall in Penang to snap this panoramic scene .

Free View , Cheap Food near Queensbay ( U )

Chances are most of you would not know that this place even existed .
There are a few pasar malam style traders that open here on a daily basis and I guess you have to try them out one by one first before you find one that you like the best.

The main draw however is the fact that you get to dine on a sandy beach with a free view of the Penang Bridge. Simply spectacular ....how can you beat that?
