Merlin Nasi Kandar ( U )

This is one Nasi Kandar you absolutely must try.

But you might regret it because from then onwards you will always 'gian' for it thereafter

As you can see, the crowd comprises of a very muhibbah mix of young and  old, from labourers and cleaners, to bankers and office workers.

Lines are blurred.
Everyone knows that their it is their duty to line up in an orderly manner .

The urgency builds the nearer you get to the counter.
When the server ( strong hands he's got!)  asks if I would like to eat in or take out,
I kind of panicked.
Omg....I mean, it's been some time since I last ate here....gulp...so many choices.
Mutton kurma ? Not in the mood.
The dark curry onion chicken? Finish already.

Well this is what happened.
I piled
Sotong, beef, fried chicken, hard boiled egg and cabbage...hot rice, all into one plate.
$13.60
Gosh looks like some alien brain matter.

Don't be alarmed though.
My order is more modest.
Fried chicken ( no choice the onion chicken habis already) , bendi, hot steaming beautiful lovely rice, topped with the best kuah campur concoction.
$6.10
Wait...how much does that make the chicken ?

Stare at the very 'high tech' tamper proof ? billing system for a moment.
Well, a set lunch costs a lot more so I guess if you tally the two plates up, it's not THAT bad.
Where to get Nasi Kandar this good ?
It's definitely worth it.

Because, as you can see, on the way out,the line never pettered out for long and the pace at the front was still as frenzied.
