Economy Rice Stall, Perak Road ( NH )

Heartbreaking development is slowly choking the life out of this once upon a time ,nice little enclave.

Wonder how long this old shoplot can withstand the forward march in all it's startling barenness.

I mean where else are you gonna find another place as charming as this ?

Regular patrons both young and old jostle politely as they pile their plates with goodies.
They know how hard it is to find such wholesomely delicious good food at reasonable prices anymore

Enjoy your meal with a unison of bodies huddled together beside a plastic taurp and dusty leaf covered road

Super spicy vegetarian taupok curry with long beans is fabulous.Yaumak vegie tastes as perfect as they look.

Even the tau yu bak pork belly is one of the best in terms of smoothness, freshness and ligament texture.
Almost always sold out. Couldn't get some today thus had to settle for chopped meat.

Sharp spinach and juicy petola paired with ikan pari gulai and spicy pineapples

Mouthwatering sweet and spicy kapah clams are to die for.

Something you can't find being sold elsewhere. Plain iced red bean drink that is not very sweet served in a plastic cup.

Get your plate of rice from this counter first, select what you want, then go back and show them what you have taken
