In Malacca they have rice balls, but I've never seen anything like this until today....how'd they come up with this shape ? Looks like a tent or some sort of Cappadocian cave dwelling.
Weird but cute.
The rice is not your usual chicken rice kind of rice...instead it's very garlicky, fluffy and dry.
I like them already even though it's my first time here.
They gave us so much chicken!
Based on that amount, it's certainly much cheaper than a whole lot of places on the island.
Got to enjoy the tasty skin because I asked them not to douse our platter in sauce.
The meat was a little tough and dry, but nevertheless, still tasty, most of all substantial.
Added on 2 eggs and one portion of stewed chicken feet.
The eggs were nice and fragrant, but didn't really fancy the feet as I think they left it overnight in the pot
Unlike most chicken rice stalls, again this one is different from most because it is helmed by a bunch of ladies both young and old .
