Newday for teochew porridge ( NH )

At night this is the only place to go to for teochew moey.

Anything that runs out in this food station is replenished el pronto

There are two unique thing about Newday that I like .First, you have the option of dining in air conditioned comfort. Second, there is always a cook on hand, ready to heat up or whip up any additional side dishes you fancy.

Today we're looking forward to a simple meal.
The waiter found it amusing that we ordered 3 types of eggs to go with the porridge. Salted egg (very creamy), pohchai omelette and hard boiled soya sauce eggs.

We usually order sliced fish and a plate of small lala (both are delicious) but decided to try something different.
Choy keok was still quite hard.
Meant to be cooling I suppose but I really didn't enjoy this

Same verdict for the muichoy kauyok as they used the sweet version instead of the salty one

Anyway, those two dishes above were out of the norm.
Will stick to my favourites next time.

Price range : to me it's reasonable but some people will complain that they are expensive.

Location : Lorong Selamat

Chowtime : best before 11pm
